Overview

Sweet Swirls, of 1895 Lasalle Blvd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3A 2A3, operates this website. We collect very little personal information. The website has no accounts, no online ordering, no analytics and no advertising. The only personal information we receive through it is what you choose to send us with the partnership form. We handle that information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

Partnership form

If you submit the partnership form, we receive your name, email address, phone number and message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. The form sends it to us by email; it is not stored on the website.

To prevent spam, the form keeps a one-way hashed copy of your IP address for one hour, which limits each address to five submissions per hour.

Website visits

Our hosting provider (Hostinger) and network provider (Cloudflare) automatically process standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. We do not use this information to identify visitors.

The website's fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads. Google's handling of that connection is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie when it needs to verify that traffic is not automated.

Orders

Orders are not placed through this website. Information you give a store by phone is used only to fulfil your order. Orders placed through Uber Eats, DoorDash or Skip are governed by that service's privacy policy, and we receive only the details needed to prepare the order.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers that operate this website and our email, and only to the extent needed to provide those services. Some of these providers may process data outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of that country.

Retention

We keep partnership enquiries only as long as needed to respond and to carry out any resulting arrangement, and delete them within two years of our last contact with you.

Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days at no cost.
